Dustin Johnson headlines a strong field at Harbour Town
The RBC Heritage is set for April 18-21 at Harbour Town Golf Links in Hilton Head, S.C. That means it's time for PGA Tour fans to pick their optimal fantasy golf lineup. Fortunately, our fantasy golf experts are ready to help.
Here's what our best RBC Heritage 2019 lineup looks like for DraftKings:
Dustin Johnson ($11,600)
In a surprisingly deep and talented field for the week after a major, we'll go chalk and anoint the current World No. 1 as our favorite. DJ doesn't play Harbour Town often, but he was T16 last year and has played some dazzling golf ever since. Didn't seem to have quite his best stuff at Augusta and was one stroke out of a playoff. This guy's good.
Ian Poulter ($8,600)
Poults was the 54-hole leader here last year before fading to T7, but that'll just make him hungrier. Seven top 25s in his last eight starts, including four top 10s. A solid T12 at Augusta.
Branden Grace ($8,300)
A talented player who's never quite broken through stateside, Grace has one career PGA Tour win — the 2016 Heritage. His other two Harbour Town starts yielded a T7 and T11. A guy with his major record (five top-6 finishes in majors since 2015) is too good to stay stuck on one Tour win.
Graeme McDowell ($7,500)
The popular Northern Irishman has rediscovered his game this year, jumping 140 spots in the World Ranking since February. He won in the Dominican in late March and followed that with a T7 at Valero. Feels at home in Hilton Head; he won here in 2013 and has made seven of nine cuts at Harbour Town.
Luke Donald ($7,200)
The one-time World No. 1 is hiding in the bargain bin; dig him out and dust him off for this week only. He's got a great record at Harbour Town — five runner-ups and two thirds from 2009-17 — and he has a recent T9 at the Valspar nestled among all the MCs.
Jonathan Byrd ($6,800)
Not much success at the Heritage for this South Carolina native, but he's shown up at Harbour Town year after year, and maybe the tournament owes him one for his home-state loyalty. Has four top-25 finishes in eight starts this year.
