2018 MLB Spring Training Reporting Dates and Locations

Jose Altuve and the defending World Series champion Houston Astros will report to spring training in Florida starting on Feb. 13

Winter is in full effect across the country but take heart, the boys of summer are on their way as the start of MLB’s spring training is just around the corner. Starting Feb. 12, all 30 teams will start reporting to their spring training facilities in Florida and Arizona to get ready for the 2018 season, which begins on March 29.

This year’s spring training will be shortened by two days as new restrictions outlined in the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) are scheduled to go into effect. The first spring training game will be played on Feb. 21 with the first full slate of Grapefruit (Florida) and Cactus (Arizona) League action on tap for Feb. 24.

Pitchers and catchers will be the first to report, starting on Feb. 12 with full squads present for all teams by Feb. 19. Whether your preference is Florida or Arizona, here is when and where all 30 teams will hold their spring training.
