Braves Briefing: How many wins is Atlanta projected to have in 2023?

The Atlanta Braves are on pace to have one of their best seasons ever.

The 2023 MLB season has been fun for Braves fans and it doesn't look like they're interested in slowing down.

As they sit at 64-36, Atlanta is on pace to win 103 games this season according to Mark Bowman of MLB.com. It would be the third-highest in team history only behind the 106 wins from the 1998 squad and the 104-win season in 1994.

Also according to Bowman, Atlanta is on pace to hit 304 home runs which would be the second-highest ever, only trailing the Twins in 2019. The current Braves record is 2019's 249 home runs.

Something we talk about all year long is the depth in the Atlanta Braves lineup, and that was on full display Friday night with everyone getting at least 1 hit.
Everyone except for Michael Harris II scored a run, and everyone except for Sean Murphy and Harris had an RBI.
The two big guys in the middle went back-to-back with home runs in Austin Riley and Matt Olson.
There isn't a lineup as deep and as dangerous as the one the Braves roll out every night.

Bryce Elder hopes to build on his last start with another good outing on Saturday going against a Brewers offense that has had its struggles this year.

And hopefully this time the Braves offense will do a little better against old Friend Julio Teheran as these teams face-off at 7:20 PM ET on Saturday night.
