Mark McGwire is known as one of the greatest power hitters in the history of baseball. A longtime member of the Oakland Athletics and St. Louis Cardinals, McGwire spent three years as the single-season home run king and currently presides over the greatest at-bats-to-home-run ratio of all time (one HR every 10.61 at bats). He led the league in home runs five times, in addition to being a 12-time All-Star and a two-time World Series champion.
