MLB Playoff Games on TV Today
Tampa Bay Rays at Boston Red Sox, 4:07 p.m. on MLB Network
ALDS Game 3, series tied 1-1
TB: RHP Drew Rasmussen (1-0, 1.69 ERA)
BOS: RHP Nathan Eovaldi (0-0, 0.00 ERA)
After scoring five total runs in Game 1, these teams combined for 20 in Game 2. The Red Sox will be hoping for another strong start from Eovaldi, who held the Yankees to one run over 5 1/3 innings during the Wild Card Game. Rasmussen has faced Boston four times since August and given up four runs over 14 1/3 innings.
Houston Astros at Chicago White Sox, 8:07 p.m. on FS1
ALDS Game 3, Astros lead 2-0
HOU: RHP Luis García (0-0, 0.00 ERA)
CWS: RHP Dylan Cease (0-0, 0.00 ERA)
The White Sox are up against the wall after losing both games in Houston by five runs. Since winning the World Series in 2005, Chicago is 2-8 over three playoff series. The Astros have already beaten Cease twice this season, so can they get the sweep to advance to the ALCS?
