MLB Playoff Games on TV Today
Atlanta Braves at Milwaukee Brewers, 5:07 p.m. on TBS
NLDS Game 2, Brewers lead 1-0
ATL: LHP Max Fried (0-0, 0.00 ERA)
MIL: RHP Brandon Woodruff (0-0, 0.00 ERA)
The Brewers took Game 1 of this series, which was quite the pitchers' duel. Two more elite starters will face off on Saturday, so Game 2 should be similarly low-scoring. The Braves faced Woodruff in late July and knocked him around for three runs over 5 2/3 innings.
Los Angeles Dodgers at San Francisco Giants, 9:07 p.m. on TBS
NLDS Game 2, Giants lead 1-0
LAD: LHP Julio Urías (0-0, 0.00 ERA)
SF: RHP Kevin Gausman (0-0, 0.00 ERA)
After shutting out the Dodgers in Game 1, the Giants will send out perhaps their best starter this season for Game 2. Gausman has faced the Dodgers three times this season and given up five runs over 14 innings, while Urias has started five games against the Giants and given up 12 runs over 29 1/3 innings, although seven runs came in one start.
