After a shortened season that featured its share of challenges due to the impact of the coronavirus pandemic, MLB is planning on a full, 162-game schedule for 2021. COVID-19's impact on the game will still be felt, as it's already been a mad scramble for both management and the players to get everything in order with spring training set to open in Florida and Arizona next week and Opening Day currently scheduled for April 1.
Despite the challenging circumstances it's still been an active offseason with big-name players changing teams either due to free agency or blockbuster trades. There are still plenty of free agents still on the market, so expect more movement over the next few weeks.
Pitchers and catchers for all 30 teams are expected to report by Feb. 17, with full squads showing up and getting to work around Feb. 22. Whether your preference is the Grapefruit (Florida) or Cactus (Arizona) League, here is when and where all 30 teams will hold their spring training.
