Nationals activate Strasburg from DL

Washington, DC (SportsNetwork.com) - The Washington Nationals reinstated right-handed pitcher Stephen Strasburg from the 15-day disabled list to start against the Atlanta Braves on Tuesday.

Strasburg returns to the club after missing 21 games due to neck tightness that caused him to leave his last start on May 29 against Cincinnati after just one-plus inning of work.

The right-hander has struggled this season, recording a 3-5 record with a 6.55 ERA in 10 starts before landing on the disabled list.

Ross, the younger brother of San Diego Padres pitcher Tyson Ross, went 2-1 in three starts during his first stint in the majors.
