Pirates' McCutchen leaves after HBP on elbow

Pittsburgh, PA (SportsNetwork.com) - Pirates All-Star center fielder Andrew McCutchen exited Saturday's game against the Braves after taking a pitch off his left elbow.

A 91-mph Julio Teheran fastball struck the 2013 NL MVP directly on the elbow and forced McCutchen back to the locker room for observation.

McCutchen came into the game hitting .295 with a .382 on-base percentage and nine home runs in 71 games for the second-place Pirates.
