Arlington, TX (SportsNetwork.com) - Adrian Beltre's line-drive single scored Shin-Soo Choo with one out in the bottom of the ninth inning, lifting the Texas Rangers to a come-from-behind 3-2 win over the Philadelphia Phillies on Tuesday.
The Rangers, who lost the opener of the three-game series 14-10 on Monday, scored two runs off the Philadelphia bullpen.
Beltre hit an RBI double off Jake Diekman in the seventh inning and later delivered the game-winner against B.J. Rosenberg after Mario Hollands (0-1) walked two Rangers in his major league debut.
Phillies slugger Ryan Howard batted fifth in the order -- the first time since 2008 he didn't hit fourth as a starter -- and stroked an RBI double in the Phillies' two-run sixth inning.
