Atlanta Motor Speedway Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500

Trying to find your optimal DraftKings lineup picks for this week's (March 5, 2:30 pm ET on Fox) NASCAR race: the Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 at the Atlanta Motor Speedway? Our fantasy NASCAR experts are ready to help. (Updated March 4 with final starting spot for each driver.)

Here's what our optimal lineup looks like.

Jimmie Johnson ($10,600)

The reigning champ wasn't always an ace at Atlanta, but in the last two years, Johnson has put it together with back-to-back wins in the sport's second race that all but clinched him a Chase bid by March. Expect him to run near the front again while seeking that early playoff ticket toward a legendary eighth title. (Starting spot: 18)

Kurt Busch ($8,800)

Fresh off his first Daytona 500 victory, Kurt Busch has some momentum going into Atlanta. In 25 starts at Atlanta Motor Speedway, Kurt has three wins, six top fives and 11 top 10s. Since 2005, Busch has a driver rating of 95.4 at AMS – good for fifth among active drivers. He’s led 749 laps at Atlanta, the most among active drivers. (Starting spot: 13)

Matt Kenseth ($8,600)

Kenseth's driver rating of 98.3 at Atlanta is second only to Jimmie Johnson's. While he doesn't have a win in his 28 starts, he does have 16 top 10s and 10 top fives. And his average finish is an impressive 9.2. So yes, he's a steal at this price. (Starting spot: 16)

Kasey Kahne ($8,000)

Kahne makes a solid sleeper pick this week. Kahne scored a top 10 in the Daytona 500 and finished second in the NASCAR XFINITY Series race at Daytona. His credentials at Atlanta are worthy. In 20 starts at AMS, he has three wins, seven top fives and nine top 10s. He also has led 353 laps and owns an average finish of 18.6. Could Kahne be on the rebound this year? We think so. (Starting spot: 29)

Ryan Blaney ($7,200)

Blaney looked great in Daytona last week. He started the race 36th and finished second. So there's that. Blaney’s price makes him appealing heading into Atlanta, where he scored a top-25 finish a season ago. Blaney could be a top sleeper candidate this season. (Starting spot: 14)

AJ Allmendinger ($6,500)

In 11 starts at Atlanta Motor Speedway, AJ has three top 10s and has only finished outside the top 20 twice. He has an average finish of 17.2, with an average place differential of +6.8. Dinger has run 32.1% of his laps in the top 15 and has one led lap at Atlanta. For his asking price, it's a no brainer. (Starting spot: 20)
