Trying to find your optimal DraftKings lineup picks for this week's (March 12, 3:30 pm ET on Fox) NASCAR race: the Kobalt 400 at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway? Our fantasy NASCAR experts are ready to help.
Here's what our optimal lineup looks like.
Jimmie Johnson ($10,200)
The man is a beast at Las Vegas with four wins, six top 5s, and nine top 10s. He also has a knack for leading laps (576 to be exact) in his last 15 starts there. Never bet against the reigning Cup champ.
Joey Logano ($10,000)
When it comes to average finishes (with 10.8), no one tops Logano, not even JJ. So we like Logano here, and so does the Sin City track, rewarding him with two top 5s and four top 10s.
Kurt Busch ($8,300)
When you're on a hot streak like Kurt is (a Daytona 500 win, and 7th in Atlanta), there's no reason to think he can't carry that momentum into Las Vegas.
Jamie McMurray ($7,600)
It's time for a sleeper pick, and McMurray fits the bill. He finished eighth, 13th, 15th, 11th and 16th in his last five starts here. Sure, those aren't amazing results, but the big picture is that he's finishing races and it's not in the bottom pack.
Ryan Blaney ($7,400)
There's a limited track record to judge from, but he's earned a 12.5 average finish in two stars, including sixth last March. He's also run second in the XFINITY Series here.
Ty Dillon ($6,500)
Truth is, this is all the money we had left. But we do like this youngster, who started Atlanta last week 26th and finished 15th. He's a fast learner and has loads of talent.
