NASCAR Racing on TV Today: Michigan's FireKeepers Casino 400 (Sunday, June 9)

The Monster Energy Cup Series stops in the Irish Hills when the green flag drops at Michigan International Speedway on Sunday afternoon

NASCAR pays a visit to the auto industry's home state when the Monster Energy Cup Series runs the FireKeepers Casino 400 from Michigan International Speedway on Sunday. Home-field bragging rights will be on the line at the two-mile oval in Brooklyn, Michigan, which is about 80 miles from Detroit, the auto capital of the U.S.

Ford is looking for a third straight victory at the track and swept the top three spots in qualifying for Sunday's race. Defending Cup champion Joey Logano is on the pole, followed by Aric Almirola and Kevin Harvick. Logan won this race from the pole three years ago and another victory on Sunday would clinch his spot in the playoffs. The top Toyota in qualifying was Denny Hamlin, who will start fourth, while Kurt Busch will be the lead Chevrolet (seventh).

So if you're wondering, "What NASCAR race is on TV this today?" know this: FS1 is airing the FireKeepers Casino 400 from Michigan International Speedway.
