Jerry Kill is sick of the Gophers, says Mark Coyle barely knew Tracy Claeys
Jerry Kill says he still loves Minnesota, but he's done with the University of Minnesota.
“I won't be stepping foot back in the stadium," Kill told ESPN Radio Minneapolis, "and I won't be stepping back into the university."
That's probably not true since Kill is with Rutgers football now and they'll eventually return to TCF Bank Stadium for a game, but you get Kill's point. He's upset that Gophers athletics director Mark Coyle fired his good friend and longtime coaching partner, Tracy Claeys, while also questioning Claeys' character.
"I would be blind if I said that I was not disappointed in how the thing was handled," said Kill.

Coyle didn't exactly question Claeys' leadership as much as he said he's looking for a new coach to operate "with integrity and class academically, athletically and socially.”
"To call people out like that, I think you gotta know them," Kill added. "And I think the guys said that he might have came to one practice. The players don't know the guy, the coaches don't know the guy. Yet, you can call people out like that? I don't think that's professional."
