The NBA trading deadline is fast approaching, and the latest Timberwolf to answer to trade rumors is Derrick Williams.

Williams, the No. 2 overall NBA draft pick in 2011, says he wouldn't be "surprised at all either way" if he was kept or dealt to another team.

As he explained to the Associated Press: "I've heard trades since the day I got picked. It's nothing new."

Williams has seen more playing time in the power forward slot with Kevin Love recovering from a broken hand. In the past five games, he's averaged 16 points and 9 rebounds, basically doubling his career stats.

Williams, in a chat with Pioneer Press writer Bob Sansevere, says he's in a "better rhythm" these days, which could be a result in the increase in minutes.

"I'm just finally getting in a groove," Williams said. "My game has just started to come back to me."
