Three-point barrage leads Clippers to crushing victory over Wolves
The Timberwolves scored 34 points in the first quarter, but the wheels came off in the second and third and they couldn't keep up with the LA Clippers in a 127-101 loss on Monday night.
Minnesota couldn't guard J.J. Redick, he scored 23 points and knocked down four three-pointers to lead the way for Los Angeles. Blake Griffin added 23, while Chris Paul added 12 points and eight assists.
Minnesota was destroyed on the glass by the Clippers 50-26. It was the sixth straight game they have been out-rebounded.
The Wolves led 34-31 after the first quarter, but Minnesota scored just 16 points in the second quarter and followed that with 18 in the third, as they finished just 2-of-12 from behind-the-arc in the game.

In the meantime, the Clippers didn't break stride and built their lead to as many as 37. Heading into the fourth the lead remained insurmountable.
At the end of the night, Minnesota's 26-point defeat was the largest loss to the Clippers in franchise history.
Shabazz Muhammed led the Wolves with his first career double-double. He had 18 points and 10 rebounds, while Andrew Wiggins chipped in 14.
The Wolves highlight of the night again came from Wiggins, while the offense was keeping pace with the Clippers in the first quarter.
The Wolves (4-12) finish the road trip at 1-2, they return to Minnesota on Wednesday to take on the winless Philadelphia 76'ers.
