Westbrook, Durant overpower Timberwolves, 127-111
The best one-two punch in the Western Conference was too much for the Timberwolves to handle in a 127-111 loss at Oklahoma City on Friday night.
Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant combined for 64 points, 16 assists and 14 rebounds. Westbrook scored 37 of the 67 points.
Ricky Rubio finished with an impressive stat-line, finishing with 13 points, 9 assists, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Unfortunately, the rest of Minnesota's starters combined for a measly 39 points.
J.J. Barea came off the bench to lead the Wolves with 17 points. In fact, Minnesota bench outscored its starters, 59-52.
