83 points won't win many games in the NBA. That's how many points the Timberwolves scored Wednesday night -- and they lost at home to the Brooklyn Nets, 91-83.

Minnesota's anemic offense has average just 89 points over the last eight games, seven of which they've lost.

Part of the reason for the poor point total against the Nets was an incredibly low six free throw attempts. That's almost unheard of in the NBA.

Three-point shooting was a problem again as well. The Wolves connected on just 3-of-15 from deep. Minnesota is easily the worst three-point shooting team in the league, hitting a very low 29% of their attempts.
