One of Twins' top outfield prospects out indefinitely with injury
The Twins will be without one of their top young outfield prospects in their spring training home opener Sunday because of an injury, the Pioneer Press reports.
Twins manager Ron Gardenhire said Saturday that Oswaldo Arcia will be out indefinitely with a pulled intercostal muscle in his left side.
Arcia was set to start in right field in the home game against the Tampa Bay Rays, but suffered the injury during an early workout Friday.
Team doctor John Steubs was scheduled to exam Arcia Saturday.

Arcia, 21, hit a combined 17 home runs between his stints at Class A Fort Myers and Double-A New Britain last season.
Gardenhire didn't give a timetable for Arcia's return, saying "it might be a little bit here before he sees action again," the Pioneer Press reports.
Arcia, who the Twins signed as a non-drafted free agent in 2007, came in at No. 93 on MLB.com's "Top 100 Prospects" list released in January.
