Not exactly.
The Twins, instead, have signed former Braves and Royals starter Kyle Davies to a minor league contract.

Davies, 29, has a career 43-65 record, with a 5.59 ERA. He hasn't pitched in the big leagues since 2011, when he finished up the season with Toronto's Triple A affiliate. In December of 2011, he had shoulder surgery and was out of baseball in 2012.
