Twins are first team in MLB history to homer in first seven innings of a game
No team in the history of Major League Baseball had done what the Twins did Tuesday night at Target Field: Hit a home run in each of the first seven innings.
In fact, the Twins were the first team to homer in six straight innings to start a game, according to Fox Sports North. So they set the record, then broke their record.

For Dozier, it was his 30th homer of the season. He finished the night a double shy of the cycle.
Even more shocking is that Kyle Gibson pitched six shutout innings to lower his ERA to 4.97 – the first time all season he's had an ERA below 5.00. He's had nine straight starts allowing three earned runs or fewer.
The Twins were winning 16-0 in the top of the ninth at the time this story was published.
