Joe Kapp's record tied for second time this year
In Week 1 it was Peyton Manning putting on an aerial display to the tune of seven passing touchdowns.
Today, a historically less proven and semi-unknown quarterback equaled the seven passing TD mark, the NFL record for a single game, one that former Viking Joe Kapp shares.
Philadelphia backup quarterback Nick Foles, filling in for the injured Michael Vick, found the endzone seven times in less than three quarters before the Eagles called off the dogs in Oakland, winning 49-20.
Foles hit four different receivers for scores, including finding receiver Riley Cooper three times in the endzone. Third-string QB Matt Barkley relieved Foles late, completing two of his three passes.

Until Manning matched Kapp in September, the former Viking signal caller was the last player to reach the seven passing touchdown plateau in 1969.
