Kai Forbath bails out the Vikings in Minnesota's 24-16 win over the Ravens
The Vikings picked up their fifth win of the season with a 24-16 victory over the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday.
Minnesota's offense was lackluster, but kicker Kai Forbath bailed them out with six field goals.
After an eventful start that included Case Keenum throwing an interception and Mike Wallace being knocked out of the game, each team traded multiple field goals.
By halftime, Forbath hit three field goals – including two from 50-yards out – and Minnesota led 9-6.
Forbath continued to be all the offense the Vikings needed as he hit his fourth field goal of the game at the start of the second half, setting a new career high.

The Vikings were finally able to find the end zone when running back Latavius Murray ripped off a 29-yard touchdown run.
Forbath would end up hitting two more field goals in the fourth quarter – and that was all the scoring Minnesota needed.
Murray went over 100 yards for the first time this season as he put up 113 on the ground. Meanwhile Keenum struggled, as he completed just 20-31 passes for 188 yards, with zero touchdowns and one interception.
On the flip side, Minnesota's defense allowed just 208 yards and sacked Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco five times.
With the win, the Vikings are 5-2 on the season and will travel to London next Sunday to take on the Cleveland Browns.
