McKinnie, Birk headed to Super Bowl as Ravens upset Patriots
The Baltimore Ravens will represent the AFC in the Super Bowl after defeating the Patriots in New England, 28-13 Sunday night.
Former Vikings offensive linemen Matt Birk and Bryant McKinnie, who start for the Ravens, are going to the Super Bowl for the first time in their careers.
McKinnie is the starting left tackle and Birk starts at center.
The Patriots were 67-0 with Tom Brady as quarterback when leading at halfime. Make it 67-1. Baltimore scored 21 unanswered points in the second half after trailing 13-7 at the half.
