Parise good to go despite feeling under the weather
Minnesota Wild forward Zach Parise left practice Monday with an illness, according to Michael Russo. At the time there was a possibility that Parise wouldn't play Tuesday at Nashville, but alas, everything is fine.
Here's what Russo tweeted when he found out about Parise not feeling well.
Losing Parise for even a game would simply pile onto the already injury prone Wild. Charlie Coyle sprained his knee during Saturday's game against the Ducks and will miss up to a month.
With Coyle out for up to a month, the Wild recalled forward Jason Zucker, who is expected to play on the second line with Dany Heatley and Mikael Granlund. Granlund was centering the third line.
