Parise on lack of goals: 'I don't think anyone's worried'
After watching the Wild score just six goals in the first three games of the season, some fans are wondering when the high-powered offense with Zach Parise will show up.
The Pioneer Press reports that Parise rolled his eyes when the topic was brought up on Wednesday. "It's three games," he said. "I don't think anyone's worried about it."
48 games in 99 days -- all against Western Conference teams -- means the Minnesota Wild would put in more travel miles than any other team in the NHL.
Parise admits the long flights will be an "adjustment" for him since he's used to short road trips in the Eastern Conference, but he doesn't think it will be too terrible.
