Los Angeles Dodgers Promote Another Top Prospect
In the wake of Jayson Heyward suffering a setback with his back injury, the Los Angeles Dodgers have promoted top prospect Andy Pages from Triple-A Oklahoma City.
Per Juan Toribio on social media:
Source: It’s Andy Pages time. After a dominant spring and start to the Triple-A season, the #Dodgers are calling up the Cuban infielder. Pages is the No. 3 prospect in the organization per @MLBPipelineand No. 94 in the Top 100.

Toribio corrected his message, as it should say that Pages is an outfielder, not an infielder.
While Heyward is sidelined, Pages should have a chance to get regular at-bats. He could also platoon with James Outman.
The following comes from a portion of his MLB.com prospect profile:
Pages' combination of bat speed, strength and leverage in his uphill right-handed stroke give him plus-plus raw power. In 2022, Double-A pitchers exploited his aggressive tendency to try to launch balls to his pull side, but he displayed more patience and chased pitches out of the zone less often last season. Though his huge pop is his most obvious tool, he's actually one of the more intelligent hitters in the system and shows the ability to make adjustments and draw walks when he's not trying to do too much at the plate.
The Dodgers are certainly World Series favorites this season and we'll see how big a part of it Pages can be. The Dodgers are taking on the Washington Nationals on Tuesday night.
First pitch from LA is 10:10 p.m. ET.
