Kawhi Leonard surprises fans at Intuit Dome with his Halloween candy grab challenge

It's been a while since we heard from Kawhi Leonard despite the Clippers star regularly making headlines. Nursing a prolonged knee injury, the two-time champion has been listed out indefinitely. Considering the sequence of events regarding the veteran forward's health, which has panned out over the past few months, he's under constant scrutiny.

The two-time Finals MVP's limited availability has always been a cause for concern, robbing the Clippers of their chances to clinch the Larry O'Brien trophy. In his six years with the Clippers, Kawhi has appeared in 229 of the 390 regular-season games.

Amid all the narratives and speculations, Intuit Dome had something special planned for the Clippers Nation on Halloween. As fans turned their attention toward the double-sided Halo Board, they were in for a candy treat courtesy of The Klaw.

Kawhi crowned Candy Grab Challenge winner

On Halloween, the Clipper's roster took on an exciting candy challenge. The challenge consisted of a giant bowl filled with sweets, and each player picked up the maximum number of candy corn in one handful.

Kawhi was undoubtedly the strongest contender to win the challenge, given that his palm size is 9.75 inches in length and 11.25 inches in width. Quoting Terance Mann, who said,

"No way people are beating Kawhi Leonard; this ain't fair."

The seven-footer Mo Bamba was coming the closest to Kawhi, who collected 112 candy corns—standing at no.1. The Klaw palmed 154 of these sweets in one go.

Suspense looms over 6'7" forward's return

With no return timetable, fans hope to see Kawhi palm the ball just like he did with the candies. Currently, 2-3 in the W/L column, the Clips have failed to capitalize on their new home arena, losing all three games at the Intuit Dome so far.

Nonetheless, fans look forward to seeing the two-time DPOY soon, as no matter what one says when on the court, Kawhi will be productive no matter what.
