Report: Bucks reluctant to trade Brogdon in Bledsoe deal

While the Milwaukee Bucks and Phoenix Suns have held discussions centered around an Eric Bledsoe trade, the Bucks are reluctant to move reigning Rookie of the Year Malcolm Brogdon, according to a report by Gery Woeful of the Racine Journal Times.

The Suns are actively shopping Bledsoe after the explosive guard made it clear he doesn't want to be in Phoenix.

Milwaukee has significant interest in acquiring Bledsoe and pairing him with star swingman Giannis Antetokounmpo, but are unwilling to meet the Suns' demand of including Brogdon in the deal.

Reports claim the Suns want Brogdon and either veteran big man John Henson or forward Mirza Teletovic in exchange for Bledsoe.

Per Gery Woeful:

"Brogdon perfectly fits the mold of the player the Suns are seeking in a trade for Bledsoe: a relatively young starting guard –Brogdon is 24 and turns 25 on Dec. 11 – to team with gifted shooting guard Devin Booker. But sources claim the Bucks are somewhat reluctant to trade Brogdon, whose all-around game, unselfishness and maturity have meshed nicely with Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton. The Suns are balking and appear adamant on wanting Brogdon."

Brogdon averaged 10.2 points and 4.2 assists per game last season while shooting an efficient 45.7 percent from the field and 40.4 percent from beyond the arc.
