Nets sign free agent forward Thomas
After several days of speculation, the Brooklyn Nets have officially signed free agent forward Lance Thomas, it was revealed Friday.
Thomas was the longest-tenured member of the New York Knicks before opting not to re-sign this offseason.
Thomas, 31, is 6-foot-8 and spent the previous five seasons with the Knicks. He averaged 4.5 points and 2.5 rebounds in 46 appearances last season.
The opening was created when Wilson Chandler was suspended for 25 games for violating the league's PED policy.
