Raptors' affiliate deals rights to Jones

Raptors 905 of the D-League have traded the returning player rights of ex-NBA guard Dahntay Jones to the Grand Rapids Drive, the teams announced Wednesday.

In return, the Raptors' affiliate will receive the Drive's 2016 second-round draft pick.

Jones’ returning player rights were originally acquired by Raptors 905 in the 2015 D-League Expansion Draft.

Jones, 34, averaged 5.4 points per over 12 NBA seasons with the Grizzlies, Kings, Nuggets, Pacers, Mavericks, Hawks and Clippers.
