Warriors are 27-1 ... and here comes LeBron

The Cleveland Cavaliers were downright giddy Wednesday night after their home victory over the New York Knicks.

Teammates playfully pelted Kevin Love with towels during his on-court interview, LeBron James was hopping around like a little kid, and the two of them joined J.R. Smith and Tristan Thompson in a vaguely choreographed dance before they headed to the locker room.

No wonder LeBron and the boys are feeling good. For the first time in months, they have everything timed just right.

The Christmas Day showdown is finally upon us, the Warriors handling their Wednesday night assignment with a 103-85 win over the Utah Jazz at Oracle. It’s Golden State vs. Cleveland for the first time since last season’s Finals — and a matchup not likely to remind anyone of those magical nights.

As Cavs head coach David Blatt told reporters before his team boarded its flight to the Bay Area, “It feels good. We’ve been waiting for this.”
