LeBron James May Already Have Next Team Identified, Former NBA Star Suggests

LeBron James' future in Los Angeles has become one of the biggest topics in the NBA world over the past few weeks with the Lakers struggling to remain over .500.

James, who could become a free agent after this season by exercising his player option, has made it quite clear in the past that he'd like to play with his son, Bronny, before calling it a career. This Monday morning, longtime NBA forward Chandler Parsons suggested that Bronny's upcoming NBA Draft decision may determine LeBron's next team.

"First of all, I think [LeBron] knows everything," Parsons said. "I think he already knows that Bronny is declaring for the draft, he probably already has a back-door deal with a team - where he's going to squad up with him.

"The minute you see Bronny James declare for the draft, they know who's taking him and you know where LeBron James is going."

Bronny, a freshman guard at USC this winter, is currently averaging 5.9 points, 2.9 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game for the Trojans.

He added nine points, six assists and three rebounds in USC's most recent win over Oregon State.

Pegged by many draft analysts as a potential late-first to early-second-round selection, Bronny's decision on entering the league in 2024 is sure to send shockwaves throughout the NBA.
