NBA fans aren't too happy with commissioner Adam Silver this Friday morning.

The NBA has reportedly suspended Grizzlies star Ja Morant for 25 games next season.

The punishment's on the lighter end, especially when compared to what fans and analysts were predicting.

NBA fans, as a result, are crushing Silver on social media today.

"Lot of people lost bets on this number lol," one Twitter user wrote.

"Only 25 he def pulling out the blick again on live," another fan commented.

"i speak for everyone when i say it should be more," a fan commented.

"Basically a vacation!" one Twitter user said.

"This is ridiculous," a fan wrote.

Adam Silver has always been a players-first commissioner and this is more evidence to that. However, it's decisions like this that irritate fans.

Ja Morant is an NBA superstar. He can't be waving around a gun in Instagram stories.

The NBA did the bare minimum with a 25-game suspension and Silver knows it. But allowing Morant back on the court sooner rather than later helps ticket sales and TV ratings. That's business, folks.
