Report: Bobcats agree to terms with Jefferson

Charlotte, NC (Sports Network) - The Charlotte Bobcats have reportedly agreed to terms with center Al Jefferson.

According to the Charlotte Observer, Jefferson will make approximately $13.5 million in the first three seasons with the Bobcats.

The deal cannot become official until July 10, when free agency begins.

The 6-foot-10 Jefferson averaged 17.8 points, 9.2 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 78 games with the Utah Jazz last season.

Selected out of high school with the 15th overall pick in the 2004 NBA Draft, the 28-year-old Jefferson has career averages of 16.4 points, 9.0 rebounds and 1.5 assists with the Celtics (2004-07), Timberwolves (2007-10) and Jazz (2011-13).
