Who has the longest wingspan in NBA history?

Orlando Magic rookie Mo Bamba has a 7'10" wingspan, but he's no Manute Bol.

Unofficially, it is the late, great Manute Bol, who stood 7’7” tall and measured a reported 8’6” wingspan from fingertip-to-tip.

 

But since the NBA draft combine began recording wingspan stats in 2000, the longest is incoming Orlando Magic rookie Mo Bamba (pictured below), who is 7’¾” and has a 7’10” wingspan. To offer some perspective, we've included the wingspan of several other well-known NBA players.

 

(Editor’s note: The average adult male’s wingspan is roughly two inches longer than his height.)
