2020 NFL Draft: Cornerback Rankings
Cornerback was the position that produced the most picks last year and it should be another popular choice in the upcoming 2020 NFL Draft. With the league tilting towards more pass-centric offenses, finding long, athletic cornerbacks that can excel in coverage and also help out against the run is becoming more of a necessity rather than a luxury.
As part of Athlon Sports' 2020 NFL Draft Guide, we have ranked each position, including 45 cornerbacks. This year's class is headlined by Jeff Okudah, a top-five overall prospect, while five others received first-round grades from Athlon. Don't be surprised if four or more are taken in the first round and this group could come close to matching the 32 cornerbacks selected in last year's draft. The 2019 draft saw one (Deandre Baker) go in the first round followed by seven in the second.
