2022 NFL Draft: Top 100 Prospects

Aidan Hutchinson, DE, Michigan Wolverines, 2022 NFL Draft

Michigan defensive end Aidan Hutchinson is one of the top prospects, regardless of position, in this year's draft

The 2022 NFL Draft is set for April 28-30 out in Las Vegas. And while Sin City should be more than ready to host the event, which hopefully will be even closer to its pre-pandemic form, the most important business at hand begins when NFL commissioner Roger Goodell announces that the Jacksonville Jaguars are officially on the clock.

For the second straight year, the Jaguars have the No. 1 overall pick at least we know it won't be a quarterback. After making Trevor Lawrence the fourth straight signal-callers taken with the first pick last year, Jacksonville will no doubt be looking at a different position this time.

After going 3-14 last season, there are a number of directions the Jags can go with the first pick. An edge rusher (Aidan Hutchinson, Kayvon Thibodeaux are considered the top ones) or offensive tackle (Evan Neal, Ikem Ekwonu) could be at the top of their board as there are options for both that merit No. 1 overall consideration.

In fact, there will be no doubt be plenty of opinions about not only who Jacksonville should take with the first pick but who the best players on the board overall are. Only 32 will be able to call themselves a first-round pick by the end of the prime-time proceedings on April 28 and below are Athlon Sports' top 100 prospects in this year's draft. You'll notice that the No. 1 player on our list is neither an edge rusher nor an offensive tackle.
