2025 NFL Draft Order: Updated First-Round Picks After Week 12
The race for the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft is starting to heat up, and with just six weeks left in the regular season, the teams at the bottom of the standings have only a handful of games left to determine where they'll land at the top of the board next year.
Three teams are leading the way with just two wins to their name through the first 12 weeks of the year, one of them being the struggling New York Giants. But with five more clubs owning just three wins each (including Aaron Rodgers' New York Jets), there's still plenty of time for things to shuffle before things are locked in place heading into the postseason.
Many of the teams currently trending toward a top-10 selection are in desperate need of a new franchise quarterback, but this year's class doesn't have the same elite talent at the top of the group, nor the overall depth we saw from the 2024 class. That will put them in the unenviable position of either reaching for the best available passer, or opting for a better prospect at another position while hoping to address the quarterback spot in a different way.
The Dallas Cowboys and Chicago Bears are among the teams that are surprisingly closer to a top-10 pick than they are playoff contention, underperforming in a big way compared to the lofty preseason expectations.
As we look ahead to the homestretch of the regular season, here's what the first-round order would look like if next year's draft took place after Week 12 results:
2. New York Giants
7. New York Jets
11. Dallas Cowboys
12. Chicago Bears
14. Miami Dolphins
16. Los Angeles Rams
19. Atlanta Falcons
20. Seattle Seahawks
22. Houston Texans
23. Denver Broncos
25. Baltimore Ravens
30. Buffalo Bills
32. Detroit Lions
