Seahawks TE Fant Among Inactives Against Cardinals
The Seattle Seahawks (5-5, 1-2) will be without two contributors, one on offense and another on special teams, as the team hosts NFC West leader the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday.
The Seattle Seahawks had hoped to get Noah Fant back in the fold Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals, but the sixth-year tight end wasn't able to go in pregame warmups.
That means rookie fourth round pick AJ Barner will again be relied upon to make up the difference at the tight end position for Seattle as first-year coach Mike Macdonald aims to keep the Seahawks in the playoff hunt at Lumen Field against the NFC West division leader.
In addition to Fant, the Seahawks will be without wide receiver/returner Laviska Shenault Jr., tight end Brady Russell, guard Sataoa Laumea, defensive end Myles Adams, linebacker Trevis Gipson and cornerback Nehemiah Pritchett, who are all inactive for the Week 12 matchup.
