The Arizona Cardinals and Buffalo Bills have agreed to a trade this Monday afternoon. The Cardinals are acquiring an offensive lineman while the Bills are bolstering their draft picks.

The Bills are trading offensive guard Cody Allen to the Cardinals. In exchange, Buffalo is getting a fifth-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.

"The Bills have announced a roster move in their offensive line room as they begin to get closer to the team's 53-man roster limit," the Bills announced. "Buffalo traded guard Cody Ford to the Arizona Cardinals in exchange for a fifth-round pick in 2023. Ford spent the last three seasons with the Bills and was drafted by them in the second round (38th overall) of the 2019 NFL Draft."

Cody Allen has plenty of NFL experience. He's started 29 games and played in 38 since entering the League several years ago.

The Bills sending Allen to the Cardinals is a clear sign they're trying to trim their roster down to the necessary limit. In exchange, they're bolstering their future draft picks.
