Baltimore Ravens Reportedly Cut Veteran Running Back On Monday

NFL teams are required to make roster cuts by Tuesday. The Baltimore Ravens, as a result, are parting ways with a veteran running back. The Ravens have reportedly cut Corey Clement.

Clement, a Super Bowl hero for the Philadelphia Eagles, is still only 27 years old. He's bound to find a new home ahead of the 2022 season.

The Ravens, though, are moving on. Baltimore has an impressive running backs unit, including J.K. Dobbins, Gus Edwards, Mike Davis and Justice Hill.

"The Ravens have cut RB Corey Clement and DB Robert Jackson," said Field Yates.

Corey Clement has been playing NFL football for five years. He spent the first four years of his NFL career with the Philadelphia Eagles before joining the Cowboys in 2021. He has 795 yards rushing, 369 yards receiving and 10 total touchdowns in 63 career games.

It's highly likely Clement gets picked up before the 2022 season begins. He's still only 27 years old and has high potential.

The Ravens, meanwhile, are moving ahead with Dobbins, Edwards, Davis and Hill. The hope is all four will be healthy for the majority of the upcoming season.
