Baltimore Ravens Veteran Suffered Season-Ending Injury On Sunday

Week 2 of the 2022 season is one to forget for John Harbaugh and the Baltimore Ravens. They fell to the Miami Dolphins 42-38 after once leading 28-7. Tua Tagovailoa and the Dolphins scored 28 in the fourth to pull off the stunner.

To make matters worse, the Ravens are going to be without a veteran defensive player for the rest of the season. That player is 32-year-old outside linebacker Steven Means.

Means tore his Achilles on Sunday in the midst of Baltimore's stunning collapse vs. Miami. He will miss the rest of the season.

"Ravens OLB Steven Means tore his Achilles, per John Harbaugh. He's out for the season," said Jamison Hensley.

A disappointing outcome for Steven Means and the Ravens. Means has played in 66 and started 29 games since entering the League in 2013. He has 108 tackles and six sacks during that span.

This season, Means was backing up Justin Houston at one of Baltimore's linebacker spots. The Ravens are now down significant depth at that position.
