Bills Defense Turns Heads in Dominant 31-10 Road Win at Seahawks

The Buffalo Bills defeated the Seattle Seahawks, 31-10, in a dominant defensive win.

The Buffalo Bills improved to 6-2 on Sunday after defeating the Seattle Seahawks, 31-10, on Sunday.

For the second-straight week, the Bills allowed just 10 points on defense. They out-gained Seattle 446-to-233, and allowed just 32 rushing yards. Running back Kenneth Walker III, who was averaging close to five yards-per-carry entering the game, finished the game with just 12 yards on nine carries to average 1.3 yards-per-carry.

Nickel cornerback Taron Johnson led the Bills with eight total tackles, and defensive lineman Greg Rousseau also had a strong day, finishing with four total tackles, two tackles-for-loss and two passes-defensed.

The Bills' offense also had a well-rounded performance on Sunday. Despite throwing his first interception of the season, Josh Allen had an overall great day, finishing with 308 total yards, two touchdowns and an interception. Running back James Cook also had a big day, totaling 111 rushing yards and two touchdowns on just 17 carries.

Rookie Keon Coleman followed his first-career 100-yard game with another strong performance. He finished with five catches for 70 yards and a touchdown. Khalil Shakir led all receivers with nine receptions for 107 yards.

In his second game with the Bills, Pro Bowler Amari Cooper finished with just one reception for three yards. Allen only targeted Cooper twice in the win.

With a big early-season lead in the AFC East and one of the top records in the AFC East, the Bills are turning heads as they have looked like one of the most well-rounded teams in the NFL in recent weeks.
