Breaking: Jets, Jaguars Agree To Notable Running Back Trade

The New York Jets believe this could be a special season and a Monday-night trade proves just that.

The Jets learned on Monday that talented rookie running back Breece Hall is going to miss the rest of the season with an ACL injury.

The NFC East franchise worked quickly to find his replacement.

The Jets are acquiring running back James Robinson from the Jacksonville Jaguars. All New York is giving up is a sixth-round pick that could become a fifth.

"Sources: The #Jets are making a big trade, acquiring #Jaguars RB James Robinson to help replaced injured RB Breece Hall. Draft pick compensation is going back to the Jags," said Ian Rapoport.

That's a move by a team that clearly believes it can win the NFC East. Good for the Jets.

James Robinson has 340 yards and three scores on the ground this season.

The Jets have found their Breece Hall replacement.
