The NFL world has been awaiting a clear-cut answer on Odell Beckham Jr's health and availability for the 2022 season.
Luckily, Cowboys star Micah Parsons revealed all the answers this Wednesday afternoon.
Parsons told reporters today that Beckham told him that he "could be ready to play in five weeks," per Jon Machota.
Five weeks from now is right around playoff time, meaning Odell Beckham Jr. wouldn't play a single game during the regular season. That also likely means the veteran free agent doesn't sign with a team this season.
It's highly unlikely a contender like the Cowboys takes a risk on a veteran player coming off a serious injury this late in the game. That is, unless Dallas wants OBJ to stick around for the 2023 season.
The risk simply outweighs the cost at this point. Besides, the Cowboys already look like one of the best teams in the NFL.
It looks like we all may have to wait until the 2023 season to see Beckham back out on the football field.
