Tonight's Monday Night Football matchup will pit the 2-3 Denver Broncos against the 3-2 Los Angeles Chargers.
Before the game, the Broncos released their list of inactive players who won't see the field tonight.
"Our inactives for #DENvsLAC," the Broncos' tweeted Monday afternoon.
The list of inactive players includes Jalen Virgil (WR), Darius Phillips (CB), Caden Sterns (S), Delarrin Turner-Yell (S), Josey Jewell (ILB), Albert Okwuegbunam (TE) and Eyioma Uwazurike (DL).
While Virgil, Phillips, Turner-Yell, and Uwazurike haven't seen the field much for Denver this season, linebacker Josey Jewell and safety Caden Sterns lead the Broncos in tackles and interceptions this season, respectively.
On the offensive side of the ball, inactive tight end Albert Okwuegbunam is tied for the team lead in receptions at the position.
While Denver might miss the defensive impact of Jewell and Sterns, it's the offense for the Broncos that needs a spark following a poor first five weeks of the NFL season. Even with the addition of Russell Wilson at quarterback, Denver's offense is only mustering 15 points per contest thus far into their 2022 campaign.
Fans can tune into the Monday Night Football matchup between the Broncos and Chargers at 8:15 PM ET on ESPN.
