Buccaneers Are Reportedly Placing 2 Players On Season-Ending Injured Reserve

Tampa Bay's injury luck is not very good ahead of the 2022 season. This Monday afternoon, the Buccaneers announced they are placing two players on the season-ending injured reserve. One of those players is linebacker Cam Gill. The other is offensive lineman Aaron Stinnie.

Both Cam Gill and Aaron Stinnie will be out for the 2022 season with injuries. It's a big blow to the Buccaneers, especially because of losing Stinnie. He was competing for a starting role on the team's offensive line.

A significant development out in Tampa Bay.

"#Bucs losing two players for the season: LB Cam Gill and OG Aaron Stinnie are placed on Injured Reserve," said Dov Kleiman.

As noted by Bucs insider Greg Auman, there was a hope Cam Gill would be able to return from his injury. Instead, he heads to the season-ending injured reserve. A disappointing turn of events.

"Bucs place Aaron Stinnie and Cam Gill on injured reserve. Ends their season. There had been hope that Gill would be able to return," said Auman.

The Buccaneers begin their season on Sept. 11 against the Dallas Cowboys.
