Bills Reveal Key Updates on 2 Injured Stars vs. 49ers
The Buffalo Bills will look to build on their massive six-game win streak when they host the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday night.
Despite their 9-2 record, the Bills have dealt with impactful injuries on both sides of the ball. However, it seems that they could be getting two injured starters back on Sunday.
All-Pro linebacker Matt Milano and breakout rookie receiver Keon Coleman both practiced for the Bills on Wednesday. Milano practiced in-full while Coleman was limited in his first practice since sustaining a wrist injury in Week 10.
Coach Sean McDermott discussed Milano's potential status for Sunday. If he's able to play, he would be making his 2024 season debut after sustaining a torn bicep in the preseason.
“Probably what you would expect just in terms of getting back into the flow, endurance, because he hasn’t played football in quite some time,” McDermott said. “Really just trying to take it one day at a time, one play at a time, not to sound like it’s coach speak, but that’s really what we’re looking at.”
If Milano is active on Sunday, the Bills would have to activate him by 4 p.m. ET on Saturday.
McDermott also gave a quick update on Coleman as the practice week continues.
“Keon Coleman will be limited today, we’ll see how it goes each day as we move through the week," McDermott said.
Coleman's return would be a huge boost for Josh Allen and the Bill's offense. In nine games this season, Coleman had 22 catches for 417 yards and three touchdowns.
