Erin Andrews Gets Blowback After Interview With Bills QB Josh Allen

Did Fox Sports analyst Erin jinx Josh Allen before facing the Seahawks?

Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen has firmly entered the MVP race this season. Throughout seven games, Allen threw for 1,483 yards and 12 touchdowns, and zero touchdowns.

The dual-threat quarterback also registered 179 rushing yards and three scores. While Allen's offense appeared to be humming after the Bills traded for wide receiver Amari Cooper last week, playing against the Seattle Seahawks at Lumen Field in the rain could thwart any hot streak.

Before kickoff in Week 8, Allen  Fox Sports analyst Erin Andrews sat down to speak with Allen about numerous topics, including his zero-interception streak. Considering he led the league with 18 picks last season, this is notable.

"You haven't thrown any interceptions this year," Andrews said. "Are you like a pitcher throwing no-hitter? Would you like me to talk about something else?"

Welp.

During the second quarter against the Seahawks, Allen's pass was intercepted. After seven games and 300 passes, he finally threw a pick.

One fan commented on Andrews’ Instagram post, “You just jinxed him Erin. Interception!!!!” Another person wrote, “You Jinxed him so badly!!”

One woman added, "All the int talked jinxed us! But he’s our QB1! ❤️💙." Of course, Bills Mafia couldn't be too upset, as the Seahawks failed to capitalize on the pick and the Bills went on to humiliate Seattle.

Up by 28 points with 5:02 left in regulation, Bills head coach Sean McDermott sent in backup Mitch Trubisky take over at quarterback. Allen exited the game after completing 24-of-34 passes for 283 yards and two touchdowns, and yes, one interception.

Buffalo held on to beat Seattle, 31-10.
